Job Description
Business Planning and Development
Conduct competitor analysis and price comparison among the private healthcare facilities in Malaysia.
- Plan & develop marketing strategies and creating partnership with the government institutions, NGOs, GPs, Corporate clients and etc.
- Formulate packages and pricing of the services offered: -
a) work with inter department in planning and implementing business plans including pricing review
and marketing collaterals.
b) Propose and carry out promotional activities to all clients to generate revenue.
c) Review and proofread medically-related communication and marketing materials.
Build and Strengthen Customer Channels
Review all marketing materials and visit the specialists (internal) to get their input and buy-in for all relevant marketing campaigns.
- Organize and support doctor engagement programmes as well as meetings with the doctors.
- Build rapport with internal specialists, existing GPs and external specialists, keep them updated on hospital services and consultants.
Work closely with the relevant stakeholders like Finance, Nursing, Allied Health and Medical Affairs team to develop marketing collaterals and packages.
Corporate & Medical Event Management
Develop value-added services or programmes for potential clients.
Assist in arranging health events, campaigns, symposiums or talks.
Gather market information
Decipher medical jargons, break down clinical data and analyze them for the ease of the marketing team.
- To help gather market information so as to keep the Business Development, Branding and Communication teams updated on competitors' movements and the Company's position in the market.
5. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes
- Develop and work with various stakeholders to come up with effective CSR programmes for the benefit of the community and organization especially in elevating the brand status of the company.
- To liaise and work closely with the PR team for publicity of CSR programmes.
To assist in ensuring a smooth, holistic process from conception of idea to execution and outcome including working with relevant people for the consumption of such programmes.
Patient Management Coordination
Ensure a patient centric approach by monitoring and optimizing patient flow, scheduling and appointment processes
Act as the communication hub for the clinical team and maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments;
- Liaising closely with various departments in order to chase updates/ avoid delays in the patient pathway;
- Deal with patient requests / concerns promptly to prevent the hand off of the request to other areas, escalating more complex or unresolved concerns to superior as appropriate.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to gather patient insights and continuously improve services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration/ Management, Economics or relevant educational background from an accredited University.
- At least 5 years of working experience in Business Development, preferably in healthcare setting.
- Good understanding of hospital operations, patient flow and service line development preferred.
- High attention to detail and accountability.
