Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for blow molding, injection molding, and assembly lines to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Optimize machine performance, reduce downtime, and track overall production efficiency.
  • Work with QA/QC to maintain quality standards and implement corrective/preventive actions for defects.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, product quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage supervisors, technicians, and operators, handle training, performance reviews, manpower planning, and discipline.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance on preventive and corrective maintenance for machinery and utilities, ensuring minimal breakdowns and sufficient spare parts.
  • Ensure raw material availability (HDPE, PP, masterbatch, etc.), control scrap levels, and reduce material wastage.
  • Enforce safety practices in line with DOSH/DOE requirements; ensure PPE usage, 5S housekeeping, and conduct regular safety checks.
  • Prepare daily monthly production and quality reports and communicate key issues to management.
  • Liaise with Planning, Sales, HR, QA, and Maintenance to support smooth factory operations.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, preferably in blow molding or injection molding.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, GMP requirements, and 5S workplace standards.
  • Practical expertise in machine settings, mold changeovers, and troubleshooting activities.
