JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting works.

Prepare monthly accounts, budget, financial management reports and all other accounting matters.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.

Ensure proper maintenance of records with appropriate supporting documentation and filing.

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

In-charge of banking facilities to assist company's business expansion

Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.

Responsible to supervise/ perform tasks related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets Register, Cash Flow and other reconciliation.

Handles tax agent, external auditor, company secretary, consultant and regulatory authorities, freight forwarders and banking matters.

Analyse and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, bank facilities management and future revenues.

Prepare journal entries and perform in general ledger operations.

Provide accurate and timely financial information (accounts, reports, analysis and financial forecast) for decision making of the management.

Data entry and other administrative tasks assigned to you.

Knowledge of Forex, USD MYR hedging, purchase Bank Guarantee, Letter of Credit issuance to oversea supplier

Good understanding and experience in shipping bill of lading, custom clearance, import tax payment

REQUIREMENTS

Able to deliver quality work while meeting tight datelines.

Strong negotiation skill

Self-starter with good organization, methodical and multitasking skills with the passion to deliver quality work while meeting tight datelines.

Able to work under minimum supervision.

Team player who is willing to guide and lead other team members.

Negotiating skill, analytical skill, interpersonal skill, problem-solving skill

Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibilities and able to meet deadlines.

Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word. Familiar with Autocount accounting system would be added advantage.

At least 5 to 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent. ACCA/CPA/MIA member preferred.

  • Familiarity with AutoCount software will be an added advantage.
  • Preferred candidates are those who have completed CIMA or ACCA.
