Administrative assistants perform administrative and office support for supervisors. They perform a variety of tasks, such as answering telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, ordering office supplies, maintaining the office facilities running smoothly, and ensuring that equipment and appliances work properly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails professionally
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments
- Able to generate Quotation, Invoice, Purchase Order & Payment Voucher
- Ad-hoc Duties: Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (further qualification in administration is an advantage)
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in English, and Malay.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
