Key Responsibilities

A. General

  1. Assist in the department's contribution to the formulation and implementation of FIMM Strategic Planning and Business Plan.
  2. Assist in maintaining strong rapport with effective communication and regular engagements, with all stakeholders on matters pertaining to FIMM and the industry.
  3. Assist in the preparation of regular reports for Supervisors (wherever relevant).
  4. To perform all duties and assignments as directed by the Supervisors (wherever relevant).

B.Specific

Main

  1. Handle and process registration application of members, distributors and consultants.
  2. Maintain records and statistics on the registration status of members, distributors and consultants.
  3. Communicate to relevant parties, internally or externally, on application, updates and amendment of status of members, distributors and consultants.
  4. Update and review standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure smooth operations of the department.
  5. Ensure timely collection of relevant fees and documents.
  6. Ensure timely reporting to the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) or other relevant bodies.
  7. Assist in the preparation of annual departmental budget.
  8. Seek relevant approval in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations.
  9. Perform any other organisational related duties as required by the management.

Process

  1. Ensure the relevant procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations are adhered by members, distributors and consultants.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of applications and communication are in place.
  3. Focal point between members / distributors and FIMM.
  4. Any other process as required by the management.

Qualification

Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or relevant tertiary qualification.

Experience:

  1. Minimum two (2) years working experience in financial or investment management, preferably in unit trust, private retirement schemes and insurance industries.
  2. Fresh graduate accepted.
