In Malaysia, Lotta Animation connects with local audiences primarily in Bahasa Melayu through platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook, expanding its reach and introducing its characters to global audiences.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Content Specialist to create, manage, and optimize digital content across various platforms. This role combines creative production with content strategy, focusing on audience engagement and brand visibility in the children's entertainment space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce content for YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Edit animation clips into short-form videos for social media.
  • Design social media visuals, posters, thumbnails, and promotional materials.
  • Write and adapt post captions according to platform requirements and target audience.
  • Manage scheduling and publishing of content.
  • Monitor social media trends and propose creative improvements.
  • Track content performance and provide reports or insights.
  • Ensure content aligns with the brand's voice and visual identity.

Requirements

Language Proficiency

  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Mandarin is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Familiarity with AI-based content tools is a plus.

Experience and Attributes

  • Experience in content creation, digital design, and video editing for online platforms.
  • Strong eye for detail and design consistency.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently.
  • Passion for animation, storytelling, and engaging content for young audiences.
