Ansell is looking for an Intern, Environmental Compliance to join our team in Melaka

In this position you will play a vital role in providing hands-on learning and practical exposure to wastewater treatment operations, compliance monitoring, and process optimization. This role also requires support in daily plant functions.

What your role will be?

  1. Support operators in monitoring and recording process parameters (eg, pH, flow rate, DO,MLSS, MLVSS)
  2. Assist in sample collection, preparation, and testing. (eg; BOD, COD, TSS, pH, turbidity)
  3. Shadow technician during equipment checks and basic serving of pumps, blowers, valves and sensors.
  4. Participate in housekeeping, safety checks, and toolbox meetings.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Chemistry.
  2. Understanding of water quality parameters (pH, DO, MLSS, MLVSS, BOD, COD, TSS, turbidity).
  3. Familiarity with mechanical equipment (pumps, blowers, valves, sensors) – even at an introductory level.
  4. Attention to detail
  5. Physical readiness (comfortable working in plant/field environments).
  6. Eagerness to learn with a proactive attitude toward hands-on tasks.
