Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and propose financing solutions while facilitating business matching opportunities for both current and potential clients, with the goal of generating fee income and structuring financing arrangements.
  • Conduct site visits and comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) evaluations, and prepare well-reasoned credit proposals for submission to the credit department.
  • Oversee the progress of assigned cases to ensure timely execution, while mentoring and supervising junior team members.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners to support long-term business growth.
  • Monitor client performance and assist with collection efforts as necessary.
  • Analyze market dynamics and customer requirements to uncover new business opportunities and support product development initiatives.
  • Formulate and implement action plans to meet revenue, profitability, and client acquisition objectives.
  • Generate regular reports and deliver actionable insights to management to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.

Job Requirements:

  • At least Diploma/ Professional Certificate graduate and Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university (in Japan or abroad).
  • Experience in B2B operations; familiarity with energy efficiency, renewable energy, automation, or labor-saving solutions is an added advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis—holding a Japanese Bookkeeping Level 3 certificate is a plus—and experience in marketing financial products.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and managing client portfolios.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven capability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential.
  • Must possess own transport to meet client. A valid driver's license is required (conversion to an international or local license necessary if currently holding a Japanese license), along with a willingness to travel overnight for business, primarily to Penang and Johor Bahru. Also, comfortable to attend after-work gathering with client to seize sales opportunity and maintain good relationship.
