About the role

Vanity Cosmeceutical Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Engineer Manager (Maintenance) to join our team in Port Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee Company assets upkeep & maintenance (Machines, equipment, premise & office)
  2. Implement and monitor Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all assets
  3. Monitor and analyse factory's assets performance and make recommendations for improvement to Management
  4. Spare parts management on all assets to ensure parts availability, suitability and continuous functionality.
  5. Technical support (Process & Machine) on New Product Development (NPD)
  6. Continuous improvement on process flow and productivity through technology advancement and machinery upgrade or improvement
  7. Ensure compliances of all regulations (Safety & GMP)

  8. Leadership and Team Management.

  9. Monitor productivity of Team members

  10. Conduct performance appraisals on Team members
  11. Mentor and recommending training for Team members

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
  2. 8+ years of experience in a similar technical engineering management role, preferably in the manufacturing or production environment
  3. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  4. Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and maintenance best practices
  5. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality management systems
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and overseas (e.g. China) machinery suppliers
