Human Resources Executive

Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources Related:
- Assist in the formulation and execution of local HR policies, procedures, and systems;
- Responsible for employee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes;
- Manage employee records, attendance, performance reviews, and other basic HR tasks;
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration (in collaboration with external service providers);
- Maintain good employee relations and foster a positive corporate culture;
- Assist headquarters with preparing and coordinating application materials for foreign employees' work permits and employment visas.
Administrative and Government Affairs Coordination:
- Handle applications, renewals, and maintenance of various business licenses, industry permits, environmental clearances, fire safety approvals, etc.;
- Coordinate with third-party service providers to complete license processing;
- Lead or assist in applying for exemptions from MIDA industrial licenses and other government approvals;
- Establish good communication channels with government departments (local authorities, labor bureau, immigration, customs, etc.);
- Organize and archive administrative documents to ensure completeness and compliance.
Other Supportive Tasks:
- Assist with office setup, procurement, equipment management, and other routine administrative duties;
- Support visa and work permit applications for foreign employees;
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above
, preferably in Human Resource Management, Administration, Law, or related fields; - At least 5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing industries;
- Priority given to Malaysian Chinese who can use English as their primary working language;
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus for better communication with the headquarters in China;
- Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws, social security systems (EPF, SOCSO), and work permit application processes;
- Knowledgeable about government procedures and capable of handling business licenses, environmental permits, fire safety certificates, MIDA-related approvals independently;
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication with local government officials;
- Fluent in English, able to write emails and reports in English;
- Strong learning ability, communication skills, and stress tolerance;
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks simultaneously.
