We're Hiring: Social Media Designer / Virtual Assistant (Dental Industry)

Are you a detail-obsessed creative with a strong eye for aesthetics and a passion for telling stories through design? We're on the lookout for a Social Media VA/Designer who can manage multiple accounts, create scroll-stopping content, and help bring our dental brand to life online.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Strategic Content Planning

  • Manage and coordinate content across three Instagram accounts (individual dentists).
  • Turn briefs into visually engaging, social-first content that aligns with clinic branding and strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain a monthly content calendar based on clinic promotions, seasonal trends, and patient-friendly messaging.
  • Plan content that reflects the clinic's tone while showcasing each dentist's unique style and focus.
  • Monitor DMs and comments, flagging sensitive inquiries and ensuring timely, professional responses.

Creative Content Development

  • Create original, brand-aligned concepts that are fresh and tailored to each account—no cookie-cutter templates.
  • Turn dental services, clinical cases, and patient stories into digestible, engaging posts.
  • Customise content types based on the dentist or treatment (e.g. smile makeovers, implants, family care).

Design & Video Editing

  • Apply solid design fundamentals (visual hierarchy, colour, layout) to make posts stand out in the feed.
  • Use tools like Canva Pro, Photoshop, or Illustrator to design high-quality content.
  • Produce diverse formats: carousels, stories, infographics, testimonial posts, promotional banners, and more.
  • Edit short-form videos and reels using tools such as CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Rush.
  • Repurpose clinic footage and before/after images into engaging, branded short videos.

Trend & Industry Awareness

  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and new content formats.
  • Keep an eye on dental industry topics and seasonal themes, using them to create timely, relevant posts.
  • Understand different patient types (anxious patients, implant seekers, families, aesthetics clients) and tailor messaging to each audience.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with the dentists, admin, and marketing teams to gather clinical insights, photos, videos, and upcoming priorities.
  • Ensure content goes through proper review and meets dental communication guidelines.
  • Liaise with SEO and external marketing teams to align messaging and strategy across platforms.
  • Maintain an organised media library for easy access to reusable templates, graphics, and clinic content.

Posting & Reporting

  • Oversee and stick to a structured posting schedule across all accounts.
  • Manage the full content process—from ideation and design to approval and publishing.
  • Track performance and engagement, sharing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts (ideally in health, beauty, or dental fields).
  • Strong skills in Canva Pro and/or Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
  • Confident in editing videos/reels.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while hitting deadlines.
