About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Process, verify, and code vendor invoices; match with POs and receiving documents.
  • Prepare payment runs (cheques, transfers) and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Maintain FI Vendor Master in SAP HANA.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Track and apply customer payments accurately in DMS & SAP.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and support collections.
  • Prepare AR reports, including aging and bad debt provisions.
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closing.

General Ledger & Bank Reconciliation

  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts regularly.
  • Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Recordkeeping & Compliance

  • Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Continuous Improvement & Ad Hoc Tasks

  • Stay updated on accounting best practices and participate in relevant training.
  • Support ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
