Job Summary:

A Welding Technician is responsible for performing welding tasks on various metal components according to project specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role includes interpreting technical drawings and layout plans, executing different welding techniques, maintaining equipment, and conducting inspections to guarantee the quality of welded joints.

Key Responsibilities:

Welding Operations:

  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and flux-cored welding, based on project requirements.
  • Weld components according to technical drawings, blueprints, or layout plans, ensuring that welds meet structural and aesthetic standards.
  • Work with various materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, based on the specific needs of the project.

Reading Layout Plans and Blueprints:

  • Interpret and understand detailed welding drawings, layout plans, and blueprints to determine weld requirements and materials.
  • Use technical symbols and measurements on layout plans to position workpieces and prepare materials for welding.
  • Collaborate with engineers or project managers to clarify any aspects of the layout plans before starting the welding process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
