SENIOR CONTRACT EXECUTIVE - SITE BASED (JB CITY SQUARE PROJECT)

Responsibilities :

• Main Claim - Liaise with QS Consultant and Architect on payment, variation orders, and final certification. Prepare and submit main claims, attend site valuations, carry out site measurements, coordinate joint measurement sheets, and follow up on interim certificates and payments. Updated claim and payment summaries accordingly.
• Sub-Contractor Claim - Conduct site valuations and measurements with subcontractors. Prepare variation order certifications with rate analysis, verify and finalize monthly subcontractor certifications, and update related claim, debit note, back charge, and payment summaries.
• Liaise with site team, consultants, and clients for approval of variations.
• Coordinate with site personnel on subcontractor claim disputes and provide advice on contractual matters.
• Assist the Contract Manager in monitoring and recording project cost expenditures against approved budgets.
• Take off quantities for variation, tender, and cost analysis purpose.
• Enquire, source, negotiate, and shortlist subcontractors for awarded works, including but not limited to calling quotations, performing rate and price analysis, preparing recommendations for tender committee approval, and drafting subcontractor letters of award.
• Assist the Contract Manager in preparing and submitting variation order and loss & expense claims to consultants and the employer.
• Attend client-consultant and technical coordination meetings.
• Prepare final cost analysis, cost control report, material cost report, monthly commercial management (MCM) report, contract and commercial report, and profit & loss report.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

• Sub-Contractor Claim - Conduct site valuations and measurements with subcontractors. Prepare variation order certifications with rate analysis, verify and updated subcontractor claims, debit notes, back charges, and payment summaries.
• Liaise with the site team, consultants, and clients for approval of variations under the guidance of the superior.
• Coordinate with site personnel on subcontractor claim issues and provide supporting information for contractual matters.
• Assist in monitoring and recording project cost expenditures against approved budgets.
• Perform quantity take-offs for variations, cost analysis, and reporting purposes.
• Assist in enquiring, sourcing, negotiating, and shortlisting subcontractors for awarded works - including calling quotations, performing rate and price analysis, and preparing recommendations for approval and subcontractor letters of award.
• Support in the preparation and submission of variation order and loss & expense claims to consultants and the employer.
• Attend project, client-consultant, and technical coordination meetings and required.
• Assist in preparing cost analysis, cost control reports, material cost reports, monthly commercial management (MCM) reports, and contract & commercial reports.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements :

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
2. At least 5-8 year(s) working experience in related field is required for this position.
3. Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
4. Basic working knowledge in Cubicost Software

SALARY RANGE : RM4,000 - RM7,000
