RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to strive the best purchase in terms of pricing, quality, reliability and service.
  • Placing orders and expediting deliveries with supplier on urgent basis
  • Follow up on materials complaint with user and suppliers
  • Performs supplier risk analysis and recommend alternate sources.
  • Monitors stock movement and stock quantity, and replenishes orders if necessary.
  • Handling export and import shipment arrangement and documentation
  • Coordination with forwarder agents for shipment booking and preparation of shipping documents to ensure smooth flow of shipments.
  • To follow-up to ensure on time delivery & logistic documentation.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and updating order progress and delivery statuses to the sales team and customers, promptly resolving any issues or delays.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in any related fields.
  • At least 1-2 years of logistic working experience in the manufacturing/shipping industry.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision, analytical and a good team player.
  • Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English & Bahasa Melayu.
  • Good knowledge of relevant logistic & custom arrangement, conditions, practices and procedures.
  • Mandarin speaking & writing is an added advantage for this position.
