Role Overview:

This role is responsible for leading and driving the service sales business at a national level, with accountability for revenue growth, customer retention, and commercial excellence. The position plays a critical role in strengthening long-term customer partnerships, developing high-performing sales teams, and ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute service sales strategies to achieve sustainable growth in contract renewals, service agreements, and long-term customer engagements in line with business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of service sales managers and senior sales professionals, ensuring clear targets, disciplined execution, and consistent performance reviews.
  • Drive commercial excellence across pricing strategy, contract structuring, negotiation, margin optimization, and risk management to ensure profitable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including property owners, facility managers, consultants, and contractors, positioning the organization as a trusted service partner.
  • Oversee sales pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and reporting, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making at management level.
  • Work closely with service operations, engineering, finance, and support teams to ensure sales commitments are operationally deliverable and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service scope through value-added solutions such as system enhancements, performance improvements, compliance-driven works, and lifecycle extensions, while maintaining discretion on sensitive offerings.
  • Monitor market developments, customer behavior, and competitive movements within the building systems landscape, translating insights into actionable sales initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to internal governance, compliance standards, and ethical practices, while fostering a customer-centric and performance-oriented sales culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; additional professional certifications or leadership training are an advantage.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive sales experience, with strong exposure to service-based, contract-driven business models.
  • Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within HVAC, cooling tower, fire protection, firefighting systems, or related building services industries.
  • Solid experience managing long-term service contracts, renewals, key accounts, and recurring revenue portfolios.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and operational feasibility.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing and developing experienced sales teams in a structured, multinational environment.
