We are an established event management company looking for an experienced
Events Executive / Events Manager
to lead the operational execution of our event projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving on-site, and is confident managing both clients and vendors. Experience in generating sales or upselling event services will be an added advantage.

Position  : Creative Executive

Salary  : RM4,000 – RM6,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end event operations, from planning and coordination through to on-site execution and post-event reporting
  • Translate client briefs into well-executed event plans that meet objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Propose creative and practical ideas to enhance event experience and overall success
  • Prepare quotations, manage budgets, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
  • Recruit, brief, and supervise event crew and temporary staff
  • Coordinate all event logistics, timelines, and manpower to ensure smooth delivery
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee on-site setup, rehearsals, and live event operations
  • Resolve operational and client-related issues swiftly during events
  • Ensure accuracy of billing and coordinate final invoicing after the event
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling where appropriate

Qualification & Skills

  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in event management or event operations
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop junior team members
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-site event days
  • Sales experience or client acquisition ability is a strong plus.
