Job purpose:

Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounts and responsible for monthly closing of accounts with relevant supporting schedules.
  • Prepare management reports on quarterly basis, ensure it is accurately prepared with analysis and submitted in timely manner.
  • Prepare and issue invoice, debit note, credit note, intercompany confirmation etc.
  • Prepare and submit withholding tax, GST returns, statistic report in timely manner.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitoring daily cash flow and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Responsible to check supplier invoices and prepare payments.
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate, properly maintained and reconciled.
  • Maintain proper filling of accounting documents and record keeping.
  • To ensure all financial transactions and accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, lawyers, bankers, customers, suppliers and government bodies on related matters.
  • To undertake any ad hoc duties assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least bachelor's degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Preferably Executive specialized in Finance – General/ Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Detailed and result oriented within the time frame.
  • Organized, meticulous, committed, and independent but yet also an excellent team player.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication skills and able to multi-task.
