Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, prepare and/or review engineering plans and designs for civil and structural works, related certificate & documentation and working drawings complying to client's requirement and standard design code
  • Pre-consultation with Authorities to ensure civil & structural works are designed according to specifications/requirement
  • Prepare design calculation reports and drawings for authorities' submissions
  • Liaise with client, client representative and all relevant authorities to resolve project issues
  • Coordinating, monitoring and ensuring the work progress is on schedule
  • Attend technical meeting/site meetings with consultants
  • Other duties as assigned by Head of Department

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of work experience in an engineering consultancy firm. Experience in large-scale civil and high-rise structural projects would be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software to simulate, model, and analyze structural behavior.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
