Job Summary

We're looking for a security-focused professional to manage computer security incidents, ensure vulnerability compliance, and support disaster recovery and business continuity planning. The role also includes conducting security reviews and supporting secure system and network setups.

Job Scope

IT Cybersecurity & Risk

  • Identification, assessment and mitigation of technology and information risks to minimize losses or disruption to business against any potential threats;
  • Develop, implement and improve the organization's cybersecurity framework in alignment with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or similar standards;
  • Ensure cybersecurity and risk considerations are embedded into all aspects of the organizational strategy and operations plan;

Cybersecurity Governance & Strategy

  • Work with management team to define cybersecurity strategy, risk appetite, and investment priorities in alignment to Cybersecurity framework;
  • Lead the delivery and design of Governance, Risk and Compliance [GRC] of cybersecurity related engagement and projects in accordance to industry standards and frameworks;
  • Develop risk management governance structure to ensure compliance and enforcement of cybersecurity and AI policies, standards, and procedures across all QL entities;
  • Prepare and report the effective implementation of technology, cyber risk, data protection and data privacy frameworks, policies, SOPs and guidelines;

Risk Management

  • Lead IT risk assessments, identification, mitigation and threat modelling activities;
  • Maintained and update the enterprise risk register; track mitigation plans and residual risks;
  • Conduct periodic review on cybersecurity risk and performance to ensure effectiveness of implementation of cybersecurity and AI frameworks, policies and procedures etc
  • Coordinate third-party risk management processes, including vendor security assessments, contract reviews etc;
  • Develop and manage risk metrics and key risk indicators (KRIs) for ongoing monitoring and reporting.

Security Operations & Incident Response

  • Oversee incident response planning, detection, triage, investigation, and post-incident analysis;
  • Collaborate with IT and relevant teams to improve threat detection, vulnerability management, and response capabilities;

Compliance & Audit

  • Coordinate internal and external IT audits to ensure timely remediation of findings.
  • Manage cybersecurity awareness training and ensure organizational adherence to compliance frameworks.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity, IT Risk and Compliance (GRC) or Information Security role with ability to interact at all levels;
  • Proven track record of implementing Enterprise Cybersecurity frameworks and risk management methodologies;
  • Have good written communication, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, Sharepoint, Onedrive etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team is essential.
