The Finance Assistant Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading and supervising a small team to deliver high-quality financial support to the business and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing and reporting.
- Supervise AP/AR, cashbook monitoring, fund transfers, and fixed asset register.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate audits, tax submissions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist in budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Mentor and guide team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA preferred).
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience (audit experience will be an added advantage), with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently with good leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
