Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts and prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheets. The role involves maintaining General Ledger records, performing key reconciliations, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing. You will also support management with financial reporting, analysis, and audit-related tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle a Full set of accounts, including all aspects of monthly financial and management reporting such as Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments, to ensure accurate financial results.
  • Maintain and update the General Ledger, P&L, and Balance sheet accounts, ensuring proper documentation, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform account reconciliations for fixed assets, inventory, and other key accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist with year-end reporting, including the preparation of audit schedules and coordination with external auditors.
  • Support management with financial reporting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial reviews as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in Senior Accounts Executive or in a similar role
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Familiarity with SQL or accounting software will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
  • Must be able to work on-site at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
