The Client

Our client is a global leader in the coatings industry, known for delivering sustainable and innovative solutions across diverse sectors. They are seeking for a Sales Manager to lead their sales strategy and drive sales growth within the Central region.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Holds a Degree in Business Administration or similar.
  2. Comes with at least 7 - 8 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Account Management. Experience in handling clients within the retail channel such as wholesalers, hardware stores, or similar would be an added advantage.
  3. Strong relationship building, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
  4. Ability to lead and build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales operations for the Central region across the retail trade channel.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive sales volume growth, while also strengthening relationships with direct accounts and wholesalers.
  • Identify opportunity for channel expansion through territory and market analysis.
  • Mentor and develop the sales team, leading training initiatives to enhance sales approach and channel management capabilities.
  • Conduct market research to identify new leads and area for improvement.
