Job Summary:

Radiographers are primarily responsible for operating X-Ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis of various patient conditions. The radiographer will be responsible for performing one or more of the X-Ray imaging procedures, and the duties assigned will depend on his/her professional training.

Job Description:

  • Prepare patients for X-ray according to doctor's request.
  • Produce X-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
  • Perform radiography tasks as assigned, including FOMEMA screenings.
  • Responsible for the safety of the patients, for observing and documenting any reactions to treatment.
  • To appropriately utilize X-ray machine to produce high quality radiological images.
  • To ensure that the X-ray machine is always performing at an optimal level.
  • To assist doctors in making sure that all radiological safety procedures are adhered to by any staff or patients involved in any radiological procedures.
  • To take charge of the maintenance of X-ray machine according to standard of requirement.
  • Understand and implement infection prevention practices including the cleaning of equipment and instruments to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Clinical responsibilities and ensures smooth daily clinic operations.
  • Updating charts and answering any clinical related questions a patient might have.
  • Assisting patient on registration and update waiting time / which consultation room.
  • Assist doctor with examinations and routine procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and dispensing medications.
  • Assist in / clinical procedures / operate medical equipment with care & professionalism.
  • Answering and handling incoming calls on inquiries accordingly.
  • Monitor supplies of inventories and medications.
  • To perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.
  • Follow closely all the safety precautions necessary for the job.
  • Keep the clinic area clean and tidy.

Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Medical Imaging or Radiology required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • An ability to work well within a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
  • Attention to details, flexible and adaptable.
  • Willing work on rotating shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1, RM3,000.00 per month
