Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Asset Management Specialist to oversee the end-to-end management of our company's critical assets. This role focuses on ensuring optimal control, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the complete asset lifecycle—from intake and deployment to transfer and decommissioning—ensuring 100% accuracy between physical inventory and records.
  2. Conduct regular asset audits and cycle counts, utilizing asset management tools to verify data, analyze discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively.
  3. Oversee warehouse operations, including storage conditions such as dust and moisture control, and enforce strict access and movement controls for personnel and assets.
  4. Process asset-related service requests and work orders via asset management systems, meeting predefined service efficiency targets.
  5. Identify risks and improvement opportunities within asset management processes, and drive initiatives to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, procurement, finance, and operations teams to maintain accurate asset data and support business operations.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in
    asset management, warehouse management, or inventory management
    . Industry-agnostic—we welcome applicants from all sectors.
  2. Proven expertise in end-to-end asset lifecycle management. Experience managing IT equipment, electronic components, or high-value materials is a plus.
  3. Proficient in using asset management software or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with strong skills in data retrieval, analysis, and reporting.
  4. Process-improvement minded, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions independently.
  5. Strong communicator and team player, able to work effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
  6. Basic Chinese communication skills required. Must be willing to relocate and work in Malaysia for at least 1 year.
