The Senior Manager for Branch Project Management will report to the Head of Property & Facility Management and support in the execution of design, planning and project management strategies. The successful candidate will partner with business units and contribute to strategic design and planning inputs to support any asset repositioning, fit-out and enhancement across Key Project Portfolios and/or new portfolios under the management. The candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of 8 people day-to-day to deliver the below responsibilities:

  • Manage designs and constructions related contracts and effectively negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers.

  • Develop and implement safety, quality assurance and control programs.

  • Represent the Bank on contracts, permits, licenses, approvals negotiation, permits, licenses, and approvals with relevant authorities, JMBs/MCs, Landlords and or other governing/legislative bodies.

  • Support any asset repositioning, fit-out, yielding-up and enhancement from people and contractual management perspectives.

  • Prepare, present and issue project progress reports and progress schedules.

  • Lead stakeholder management across SBUs and C-Suites, consultants, contractors, colleagues ensuring positive and quality and respectful business performance and reporting outcomes.

Job Requirements: Education/Qualification
  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction/Development related field or equivalent.
Experience & Skillsets
  • 10 years and above work experience in architectural, construction, or project management within a mid-senior/senior managerial capacity.
  • Handled comparable projects and people portfolios.
  • Commendable oral and written communication skills is a must.
  • Well versed in the project arbitrage, management and technical cycles.
  • Understands capital planning and costs, and cash flows.
  • Proven effective skills in managing people, contracts, array of projects, and collaboration.
