JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree/Culinary Arts or Bakery
  • Sound knowledge on baking/pastry with minimum 2 to 4 years working experience in hotel cake shop or independent cake shop in similar job.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In charge of preparation and production of bakery items and special order according to recipes.
  • Check all ingredients and mise-en-place daily for preparation and production.
  • Daily check of ingredients and products to prevent and avoid wastage and spoilage to keep food cost low.
  • Monitor no food given out without proper documentation or to unauthorized persons.
  • Report immediately any missing items to Section Head as part of food control and security procedures.
  • Ensure Section equipment used correctly, kept clean and report any malfunction promptly to Section Head.
  • Participate in kitchen training and related programs for updating kitchen operation management.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Section Head.

JOB LOCATION:

  • Central Kitchen, Bakery Department (Asia School of Business Academic, ASBA - Near KTM Bank Negara)
