Job Summary
We are seeking a
highly driven and technically astute Sales Manager
based in Mumbai to lead business development and sales activities across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the oil and gas sector and a deep understanding of asset integrity challenges and solutions. This role involves developing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, managing key accounts, and supporting the company's market expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Technisur's AIM solutions, including SHM, Pipeline Health, and CUI Management.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and engage with prospective clients in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas sectors, pan India.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Represent Technisur in client meetings, conferences, and industry forums.
Solution Selling
- Provide consultative selling of technically advanced AIM solutions, including robotics-based and digital inspection technologies.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to develop customized proposals and presentations.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform strategic planning.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the GM.
Collaboration & Team Support
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment and execution of business goals.
- Assist in the preparation of bids, tenders, and marketing materials.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience
in the
oil and gas industry
, preferably in AIM, inspection, NDT, or engineering services. - Proven track record in B2B technical sales and business development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or related field preferred).
- Strong understanding of asset integrity challenges across offshore and onshore facilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with EPCs, operators (e.g., ONGC, Reliance, Cairn), and service providers is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to travel throughout India.
