Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Compliance

  • Establish and manage an independent quality assurance system to monitor organizational compliance with NAA requirements.
  • Maintain direct access to the Accountable Manager for all quality-related matters.
  • Define and implement Human Factors principles across the organization.
  • Implement and oversee a comprehensive quality audit program, ensuring regular compliance checks for all aircraft or component maintenance activities.
  • Manage audit execution, reporting, follow-up actions, and closure of non-compliances.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Accountable Manager to review quality and safety system effectiveness.

Documentation & Procedures

  • Prepare and maintain standard practices, manuals, and procedures aligned with NAA regulations and regulatory updates.
  • Evaluate and approve sub-contractors and suppliers for quality of components, materials, and services.
  • Oversee issuance, renewal, and cancellation of Certifying Staff (C/S) and Support Staff (S/S) authorizations.

Airworthiness & SMS

  • Coordinate actions related to airworthiness occurrences, including investigations and follow-up.
  • Ensure that all processes required for the Safety Management System (SMS) are established, implemented, and maintained, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety promotion.
  • Provide periodic reports on organizational safety performance.
  • Maintain safety documentation such as:
  • Safety reports
  • HIRA worksheets
  • Safety performance indicators
  • Internal audit reports
  • SMS training records
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with SMS requirements.
  • Investigate customer incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.

Training & Leadership

  • Ensure all airworthiness and safety audit personnel are properly trained and qualified.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget, including audit activities, regulatory fees, and training requirements.
  • Uphold organizational values, leadership principles, and code of conduct, serving as an example to others.
  • Execute any other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Background & SkillsMinimum Education

  • Preferably holds a CAAM Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License (or equivalent).

Minimum Experience

  • At least 10 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a Quality Department within an aviation organization.

  • (E) Prior experience in aircraft or component maintenance environment.
  • (D) Knowledge of various aircraft configurations is an added advantage.
  • (E) Ability to work independently and support operations locally and internationally.
  • (E) Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • (E) Team player with the ability to build and strengthen processes for organizational growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM5,500.00 per month
