STINIS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a CNC Machine Programmer Specialist to support the development of our upcoming projects. This role involves programming and optimizing CNC machines to ensure efficient, precise, and reliable production of components, helping us deliver dependable and hardworking products for our company's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced CNC programs for multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, EDM, and hybrid machines.
  • Create precise tool paths using advanced CAM software for high-precision machining.
  • Optimize G-code and M-code for machine performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • Modify and improve existing CNC programs to enhance quality and reduce cycle times.
  • Integrate parametric programming and macro codes to automate machining operations.
  • Conduct virtual simulations to detect tool collisions, geometry errors, and validate processes.
  • Ensure all programs comply with GD&T standards and engineering specifications.
  • Customize post-processors to suit various machine controllers.
  • Manage and archive CNC programs for efficient retrieval and version control.
  • Integrate CNC programs with automated robotic loading and handling systems.
  • Apply advanced machining strategies such as high-speed machining, trochoidal milling, chip thinning, and adaptive control.
  • Optimize spindle speed, feed rates, and cutting parameters to minimize tool wear and extend tool life.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline CNC programming processes.
  • Establish standardized databases for cutting parameters and setup documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and reduce scrap rates through improved programming and setup practices.
  • Coordinate coolant management strategies for enhanced machining performance and surface finish.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC machine programming.
  • Advanced proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code and M-code.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes (milling, turning, grinding, EDM, etc.).
  • Proven track record of programming complex multi-axis operations.
  • Skilled in CAM software and CNC simulation tools.
  • Solid understanding of quality inspection techniques and GD&T.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
