About the Role:

As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and efficiency. You'll supervise the culinary team, manage kitchen inventory, and help develop menus that reflect creativity and excellence. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on cooking ability, and a passion for maintaining high culinary standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including CDPs and Commis.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
  • Assist in menu planning, costing, and recipe development.
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
  • Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen schedules and staff performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
