Are you a taxation expert looking for a challenging role in a dynamic company? Join our client's team as a Tax Executive and play a crucial part in managing their tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills in e-invoicing, tax provisions, and transfer pricing while working with a reputable organization in Shah Alam.

What you'll be doing?
  • E-Invoice Management: Monitor the e-invoice process and middleware software daily, update managers on ongoing issues, and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
  • Tax Provisions: Collaborate with external tax agents, Customs, and IRB on deferred and tax returns to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to tax withholding, indirect tax functions, SST, and other relevant regulations.
  • Transfer Pricing: Coordinate and prepare transfer pricing documentation to support the company's international operations.
  • Tax Advisory: Serve as the focal point for all tax-related matters, providing advice and reviewing legislation within the department and company.
  • Tax Returns: Review and prepare tax return forms, identifying potential issues, risks, and strategies for optimization.
  • Financial Support: Assist with daily finance entries, including general ledger, journals, and accounts payable and receivable.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Relevant Experience: 4-5 years of experience in Tax functions from similar industries, bringing valuable insights to the role.
  • Software Proficiency: Good knowledge of accounting software, especially SAP, to effectively manage financial data.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Bahasa, English, and Mandarin to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for details and accuracy, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Time Management: Mature approach to work with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
