About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at Orion Gastro Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time role where you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our renowned restaurant.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, customer service, and financial oversight
- Directly supervising and training front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers
- Implementing and maintaining operational procedures and policies to drive efficiency and consistency
- Collaborating with Head Chef to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Monitoring and analysing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Proactively addressing customer complaints and concerns to maintain our reputation for excellence
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role
- Proven track record of leading and motivating front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences
