visionary Head of Content / Senior Content Strategist
to take full ownership of our content ecosystem — from ideation and storytelling to production and performance optimization.

Role Overview :
You will lead PurelyB's
content strategy, creative direction, production planning, and execution
across all channels — owning the ideas, scripts, angles, visuals, and storytelling that drive
brand love, community engagement, and revenue growth
.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, You will also guide the Social Media Specialist & Content Creator/s, and work closely with the performance marketing team, ensuring seamless execution of a high-performing, cohesive content ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Content Strategy & Leadership
- Own PurelyB's full content strategy for paid ads, organic socials, community engagement, and conversion-focused content.
- Build and manage content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, and brand goals.
- Lead and mentor the content team, ensuring quality, consistency, and performance.
2. Creative Direction & Production
- Lead ideation, storyboarding, scripting, and shot lists for all content.
- Direct video and photo shoots — ensuring strong pacing, narratives, hooks, and emotional resonance.
- Oversee creation of all short-form videos, UGC-style assets, testimonials, lifestyle shoots, and product visuals.
3. Copywriting & Messaging
- Write compelling hooks, scripts, captions, headlines, and ad copy that drive clicks, conversions, and brand affinity.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with PurelyB's tone: warm, authentic, ancestral, science-backed, and community-centered.
- Develop clear content angles for each product (gut, skin, immunity, lung health, stress, women's wellness).
4. Performance & Optimization
- Collaborate with the marketing team to analyse content performance across Meta/TikTok ads & social platforms.
- Identify winning content themes and iterate quickly based on data.
- Develop monthly insights and recommendations to continually improve results.
5. Trends, Culture & Community
- Stay ahead of TikTok and IG trends, wellness conversations, and cultural content opportunities.
- Create content that speaks to PurelyB's key communities: eczema sufferers, mums, wellness seekers, fitness goers, and global audiences discovering Malaysian herbs.
Requirements :
- 5–8+ years in content strategy, creative direction, or social-led roles (D2C, beauty, wellness, FMCG preferred).
- Strong portfolio of high-performing short-form content (ads + organic).
- Excellent copywriting skills — from hooks to scripts to brand storytelling.
- Proven experience leading shoots, directing talent, and managing content teams.
- Strong understanding of content psychology, conversions, and platform best practices.
- A strategic thinker who is also comfortable executing fast, cleanly, and creatively.
