About the role

Join Kuala Lumpur Environmental Technologies SB' as a Sales Engineer based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for driving the sales, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing any technical inquiries. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be essential in understanding our products and communicating their benefits effectively to potential clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand our customer base
  2. Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our technologies

  3. Provide training and technical support to customers and internal teams, ensuring they understand product functionality and benefits.

  4. Collaborating with the engineering team to understand product features and capabilities

  5. Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals
  6. Identifying new market opportunities and trends to drive business growth
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to inform sales strategies and product development

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
  3. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and environmental technologies
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Proficient in data analysis and customer relationship management
  7. Willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed
