About the Role
We are a dynamic and expanding insurance intermediary looking for passionate, driven, and client-focused professionals to join our Employee Benefits team. 1. Account Manager – Employee Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, including cross-selling opportunities
- Support sales activities and ensure successful placement of insurance products
- Conduct needs analysis and provide tailored insurance recommendations
- Negotiate renewal terms and prepare renewal documentation (e.g. RFPs)
- Handle client queries, claims, and reporting requirements
- Deliver presentations and client education sessions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Requirements:
- Diploma in a relevant discipline; prior insurance industry experience is essential
- Familiarity with employee benefits such as medical, flexible benefits, or P&C insurance is a strong advantage
- BCCITB certification preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, service-driven, and a strong team player
2. Business Development Executive – Employee Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Advisory & Technical Support
- Conduct gap analysis, benchmarking, and technical reviews
- Support BD Manager and Account Management teams with proposals, employee handbooks, and presentations
- Provide advice on plan design, coverage enhancements, and pricing strategies
Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Assist in pitching services and engaging with potential clients
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions
- Organize and support marketing activities such as seminars and webinars
Account Management
- Manage renewals and new policy placements
- Maintain relationships with existing clients
- Coordinate renewal processes, claims reporting, and administrative tasks
- Review proposal details to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales within the insurance industry
- BCCITB certification is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
