Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia. The role involves managing and implementing EHS policies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, investigating workplace accidents, and delivering safety training programs. The Assistant Manager will also focus on environmental and safety responsibility within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Leading a team of 3 subordinates for aminimum of 2 years.
  • Possess Certificate or competent in CepSWaM or CePIETSO.
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO14001.
  • Certified OSH Coordinator.
  • Experience in carbon footprint calculation of certified internal auditor in ISO 14064 / ISO14067 /ISO14068.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices and standards.
  • Experience in Occupational Health and Accident Investigation processes.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective Training on safety and environmental topics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant Malaysian safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
