This role is a key marketing position for Malaysia and is responsible for driving all consumer marketing-related activities for Brands Suntory Malaysia. This includes the following:
- Developing and driving brand strategies to ensure continued increase in market shares and sustained growth of Suntory Health Enrichment Brands (BRAND’S Essence of Chicken Portfolio, including Herbal Range)
- identifying opportunities for the launch of new HE brands within the Suntory portfolio and leading the launch of New Product plans
- planning and executing the relevant brand communication and promotion activities
- managing Advertising and Media spends effectively
- working closely with media, creative and digital partners to ensure consumer-driven communications.

1. Develop and Drive Brand Growth Strategy
Develop, plan, execute and management of the strategic brand plan, with the integration of marketing tools to achieve optimum long and short-term brand and company objectives.
Create robust plans consistent with long-term brand positioning and strategic direction set, whilst striking a balance of consumer needs and trade/customer needs.
Obtain and leverage brand/category insights to ensure campaigns are consumer-centric
Develop well-integrated communication strategies in obtaining maximum results and meet the overall objective set.
Drive and maximize the usage of digital marketing in all brand campaigns to achieve brand objectives
4. Media Effectiveness- Optimisation of resources
Ensure that in-market media plans are optimized to drive best ROI and impact across the different touchpoints
Ensure that local media plans are measured and evaluated
Allocate effective resources including ATL and BTL and achieve optimal touch-points for the respective brands.
5. Alignment with regional marketing
Work closely with Regional Marketing to ensure Malaysia’s market needs are captured and met e.g. innovation pipeline, research resources, improvement through global best practices etc
6. KPI Measurement
Track and report NPI and portfolio performance to ensure key KPIs are delivered and recommend necessary corrective actions.

Experience:-
Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in brand marketing role or experience in commercial, sales operations from
MNC consumer healthcare or MNC FMCG industry with min. 3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
Brand strategy development, marketing campaign management, media planning and optimization, consumer
insights and market research, financial acumen, project management Soft skills:-
