Primary Objective:

  • Managing the banks' daily cash flow and liquidity requirement.
  • Ensure compliance on statutory & MATs set by the regulators and Bank.
  • Monitor and execute action plan on the composition of the GFC Assets & Liabilities to ensure compliance with all internal/regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Execution of Group Funding requirements to maximize profit and achieve cost savings objectives.
  • Keep abreast with latest development in market pertaining to liquidity and interest rate level.
  • Keep a good contact with other market participant.
  • Participate in bank's BCP and DRP and System implementation/upgrade.
  • Facilitate Commodity Trading execution and management.
  • Facilitate in production of daily and monthly reports.
  • Learn, adapt, communicate and grasp skills required to perform daily funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Strategy
  • Facilitate problem solving with regards to daily requirements of the Department.
  • Execute interbank transactions in accordance to daily cashflow and liquidity requirements.
  • Daily Interbank Funding Operation
  • Facilitate team members handling daily cashflow operation for 3 entities.
  • Facilitate compliance of all MATs.
  • Able to maneuver and work well with Murex system in order to capture transaction, extract information and details as part of daily requirements.
  • Facilitate and provide system improvisation and/or testing to specific requirements in Murex to cater to new products (if any).
  • Commodity Trading Unit
  • To ensure smooth and efficient daily operation of commodity trading activities that support Group wide commodity trading requirements
  • To manage the administrative part of the CTU activities including payment and collection of fees, accounting & reporting for performance management
  • Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree - Bachelor Degree in Investment, Business Admin, Finance, Economy, Accounting or equivalent.

  • PPKM License Holder.
Minimum 3 Years' experience in Treasury. Knowledge on Islamic Banking, an advantage. Understand bank's regulatory requirement and basic Treasury operation.

  • Medium : MS Excel/Office
- understanding of funding & liquidity management and Treasury interbank money market products.

Understanding of interbank money market transaction flow.
