Objectives of the Position:

  • Maintenance and enhancement of Team Communication and Data Analytics Tool
  • Analyze end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process to identify patterns and offer a fresh external perspective for enhancing customer experience and efficiency.
  • Understand the improvement requirements for end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process and implement technical changes on existing tools to meet business objectives.
  • Support project management tasks related to supply chain activities.

Main Tasks: - Responsible for maintaining and enhancing citizen development tools with minimal technical supervision, such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and other Microsoft products.

  • Help translate business rules into programming logic for integration into dashboards and documentation.
  • Explore and interpret data within Celonis to uncover insightful trends for further investigation. (Training and Certification for Celonis will be provided)
  • Assist in administrative and presentation activities, like business reporting, meeting minutes, meeting slide preparation, and requirement documentation, among others.

Requirements:

  • Students pursuing a bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, programming, or data science with an interest in Order-to-Cash (Supply Chain and Finance); OR
  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Economics with technical skills in data analytics and app development.
  • Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Available for a 6-month full-time internship.
  • Proficient in advanced MS tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau, or other visualization tools, and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre was established in 2005. Located in Kuala Lumpur, this regional hub has around 1,100 employees, with a focus on competency and digitalization. It provides functional services in finance, controlling, human resources, and more to BASF companies in the Asia Pacific region. BASF also operates regional hubs in Berlin, Germany, and Montevideo, Uruguay, covering Europe and the Americas.
