Job Scope

Job Summary


Coordinate Commission Meetings, Management Meetings, and any other meetings of sub-committees formed by the Commission, including preparing meeting agendas, circulating meeting documents, and producing meeting minutes to ensure MCMC's regulatory and policy decisions are properly recorded.

Manage appropriate arrangements for the Commission members to ensure compliance with the governance framework.

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with relevant user departments on advice related to secretarial matters as and when necessary.
  • Guides and coordinates with relevant departments to ensure meetings are efficient, effective, and in accordance with the Meetings' Terms of Reference.
  • Sort through all relevant meeting arrangements (both online and offline) to ensure that all meetings run smoothly.
  • Prepare decisions and actions from the meetings. This includes attending meetings and taking accurate minutes anddistributing the meeting minutes to relevant user departments in a timely manner and in the correct format.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of the meeting's decision on matters that necessitate additional explanations.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders on matters related to meeting documentation issue.
  • Prepare reports and research information for the meetings as and when requested.
  • Prepare the Chair's Briefing Papers (including the provision of background information).
  • Arrange domestic and international meetings/trips on behalf of the Commission members from end to end.
  • Job Requirement
  • Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in LLB, Business Administration, Corporate Administration, or related disciplines with a minimum CGPA 3.00 from a reputable University/College.
  • A member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of working experience in a similar environment.
  • A flexible multitasker who thrives in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.
