Responsibilities

1.Employee engagement

  • Maintain good relationship between employers and employees.
  • Advise others on the proper procedures for carrying out negotiations and on the special regulations relating to employment and salary agreements.

2.Industrial relation / Disciplinary matters

  • Examine and attempt to resolve industrial disputes and grievances in the workplace.
  • Study and interpret relevant industrial legislation (the laws which are formulated by parliament to control industrial practices in the workplace).
  • Conduct research into particular industrial relation issue (e.g The effects of changes in work practices on productivity).
  • Will be responsible in creating and implementing IR related programs.
  • Responsible for Industrial matters relating to staff discipline, grievances, domestic inquiries and other activities. Preserving good industrial harmony and industrial relations amongst employees of the company.
  • Act as an internal advisor to all levels of staff including Management on matters related to IR.
  • Provide advice and counselling in all disciplinary issues and ensures that actions taken by the company are in conformity with the labour laws, the employees' individual contracts and the company's rules and regulations.
  • Able to work independently while still a teamplayer with a strong commitment to Department / Company harmony.
  • Administering Discipline Policy and Procedures
  • Responsible for monthly management reports
  • Assist Head of IR in planning, developing, implementing, and managing strategies and / or policies to improve industrial harmony in the organization.
  • Any other tasks required from time to time.

Job Requirements

1.Qualification

  • Degree in Human Resource

2.Working Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience

3.Specific Knowledge

  • Employment laws and regulations ie IR Act, Employment Act, Trade Union Act, EPF Act, SOCSO Act and others
  • IR Court Awards

4.Skills

  • Excellent negotiation
  • Communication and writing
  • Able to interpret laws effectively
  • Good organizing and facilitating

5.Personal Attribute

  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Independent and a team player

Salary:
RM3, RM7,100.00 per month
