Role Objective

  • Looking for an experienced Head of Unit, Ticketing & Internal Event to oversee all aspects of corporate travel arrangements for PR1MA Corporation Malaysia.
  • Responsible for managing travel policy compliance, negotiating with vendors, organizing internal events, and providing exceptional customer service to PR1MA employees.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate travel policy aligned with PR1MA objectives for cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel services for employees while ensuring compliance with PR1MA's travel policy.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and other vendors for cost-effective travel solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel expenses, bookings, and invoices, and provide regular reports on travel spending to Head of Department, Administration.
  • Assist employees with travel arrangements, changes, cancellations, and addressing any travel-related issues or emergencies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and travel regulations to ensure compliance and update the PR1MA travel policy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for travel expense reconciliation and timely reimbursement for employees.
  • Continuously improve the corporate travel program by identifying cost-saving opportunities and enhancing travel processes for PR1MA employees.
  • Provide training to employees on procedures and online booking tools.
  • Monitor travel disruptions and provide timely assistance and alternative solutions to minimize travel issues for employees.
  • Build strong relationships with travel vendors and partners for effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Handle escalated travel-related issues and complaints to find satisfactory solutions for both the company and employees.
  • Participate in travel industry events to stay informed about new technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Strong understanding of corporate travel policies, booking systems, and management tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to analyze travel data and expenses, along with report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in travel booking platforms and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and manage deadlines.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage travel-related emergencies.
  • Familiarity with travel regulations and compliance standards.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in the travel industry and implement innovative solutions.

Job Type:

RM6, RM8,500.00 per month
