About Role
The Business Development Manager (Commercial Outsourcing) role at Docquity Malaysia entails spearheading the commercial outsourcing segment of the business. This position involves driving strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and overseeing the outsourcing solutions offered by Docquity.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand Docquity's commercial outsourcing portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

Additionally, the Business Development Manager will collaboratively work along the Business Development and Sales team (Commercial Department), fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.


Job Title:
Business Development Manager (Commercial Outsourcing)

Work Experience:
Min. 5 years, preferably in Pharmaceutical Business Development and Sales, specialising in Commercial Outsourcing.

Location:
Selangor, Malaysia

Academic Qualification:
Min. Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Sales/ or relevant field

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, and other potential clients for commercial outsourcing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Csuite executives, to understand client needs and align outsourcing services accordingly.

Commercial Outsourcing Management:

  • Oversee the delivery of commercial outsourcing services, ensuring highquality and timely execution of projects.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns to maintain strong longterm relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of outsourcing operations.

Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales driven strategies to drive growth and expansion of the commercial outsourcing segment.
  • Lead the sales driven lifecycle process from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Development and Partnerships, to tailor solutions that meet client requirements and drive revenue growth.

Performance Management and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the sales team, promoting a dynamic and resultsoriented work environment.

Skills required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and sales, with a focus on commercial outsourcing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and achieving targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in collaborating with highperforming sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales driven strategies to drive business growth.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
