**Job Title: Business Development Manager**
**Department**: Sales
**Job Summary**:
Business Development Manager will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to develop new business opportunities for the company.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- List the primary responsibilities and tasks that the employee will be expected to perform. Use bullet points for clarity.
- Be the “owner” for the products assigned to you
- Be accountable for the overall earned revenue and gross profit for the products assigned to you
- Be the key contact person with the principals
- Main good relationship with the principals
- Renewal of contracts/agreements with the principals
- Responsible for marketing events related to the products
- Initiate and manage marketing activities with the principal, the principal’s business partners and channels
- Maintain and update information on the Principals’ portal if any
- Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure the sales targets and KPIs given by the principals and the Management are met
- Update schedule and update the sales & marketing team on major marketing activities, new products or new versions
- Update on online learning courses, lab and materials
- Produce and provide reports in a timely basis to the principal as required, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline report to the principals
- Initiate and manage marketing activities to increase the revenue and profit derived from the products under your management
- Perform data analysis on current market demands
- Identify and acquire potential clients
- Active participation in tenders and RFI by government, government-linked corporations, and corporations
- Initiate new projects and submit proposals to government, government-linked corporations, and corporations
- Identify and source for more potential and experienced trainers.
- Highlight to management any significant matters, including update, price increase, negative class feedback, etc.
**Qualifications**:
Currently doing business development (B2B).
**Education**:Minimum Degree and above
**Experience**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Experience in IT industry
- Skills: Communication, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Creativity
**Other Requirements**
- Travel: willing to travel if required
**Salary**: Up to RM120,000.00 per year
