Job Descriptions:

General

  • Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
  • Comply with clients and applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for the prevention of workrelated injury and ill health in own specific area of work/responsibilities.
  • Assist in followthrough and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist to develop an employeeoriented company culture that emphasised quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Admin

  • Arrange for repair and maintenance of the office premises and equipment, furniture, fitting, etc.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the office building for defects to be rectified.
  • Schedule and supervise pest control services as and when necessary.
  • Coordinate all despatch activities.
  • Liaise with Purchasing Department and vendor/suppliers on the required stationery.
  • Prepare summary for back charge in accordance with the Purchase Requisition Form and submit to Finance and Accounts Department.
  • Ensure that the grocery item department has sufficient stock.
Recruitment

  • Prepare a letter of appointment or contract following the procedures.
  • Perform posthiring followup to ensure employees have a smooth transition into their jobs and at the same time build good workrelationship between HR and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on all recruitment activities which include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure positions are posted appropriately and all necessary recruiting procedures are properly implemented which results in seamless and smooth human capital acquisition.
  • Plan, coordinate and participate in career day activities.
  • Implement and maintain internship programs with schools.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Providing tracking reports.
  • Assist division in preparing and managing manpower budget.
  • Ensure the hiring, development, and promotion of a diverse workforce in a timely manner.
  • Building a good work relationship and liaise with the departmental head, recruitment agent, government bodies, and relevant bodies on all recruitment activities.
  • Assist in guiding and coaching HR and Admin matters.
  • Assist in continuously reviewing and updating existing forms and documentation within the division.
  • Assist in planning and implementing projects and programs which will increase and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment system.

Job Requirements: A recognized Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management/its equivalent. 1year relevant working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Able to communicate well with all levels of people. Aggressive and have a sense of urgency. Good writing skills. Meticulous, detailed, well organized, and able to work independently to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Computer literate. Office based. Travel as and when required.
