About the Company
Our client is a Malaysian brand with over 38 years of experience as a courier service provider. In line with their growth plan, they are seeking for talents who is experienced in the International Business. The role includes the nature of Business Development and lead in managing and strategically plan the annual business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement air freight strategies, considering cost, transit time, and service levels. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
  • CarrierSelection and Negotiation: Evaluate and select air carriers based on specific requirements. Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contracts to optimize cost and quality.
  • Cost Management: Analyze air freight costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement measures to optimize expenditure. Monitor budget adherence and report on financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams (such as procurement, sales, and customer service) to align air freight operations with overall supply chain goals. Build relationships with external partners, including airlines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.
  • Crisis Management: Respond to and manage any air freightrelated disruptions or emergencies, such as flight cancellations, cargo damage, or regulatory issues. Implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions and maintain business continuity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess air freight processes and identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing air freight operations within a supply chain context.
Strong track record of successfully coordinating air shipments, including handling documentation and compliance.

  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contracts and building relationships with airlines and freight partners.
  • Experience in optimizing air freight processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ability to effectively manage risks and handle disruptions in air transportation.

Salary:
RM8, RM11,000.00 per month
