The Global Director of People and Culture will provide strategic counsel and human resources support on people matters to Equality Now's teams worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of global/multi-cultural HR experience, with 10 years in a senior position, and experience working in international organizations.

The Global Director of People and Culture will be responsible for:

  • Talent Management: Lead and oversee talent management activities, including employee relations, training & development, and employee recruitment, succession, retention, and mentorship programs.
  • Strategic Partner: Work closely with the Global Executive Director as a strategic advisor and engage with the senior leadership team on the development and implementation of human capital strategic priorities.
  • Training and Development: Create and implement a staff training calendar and deliver onboarding programs and training.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Promote and assess organizational culture through engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Employee Relations: Lead and/or assist in workplace investigations and conflict resolution support.
  • Compensation & Total Rewards: Ensure compensation and benefits are aligned to the organization's values and lead on developing a performance and compensation review process.
  • Data/Analytics: Oversee the collection and compilation of HR metrics and data from various sources.

The ideal candidate will display the following qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree; master's degree strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification (or similar based on region) required.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Tech savvy and proficient with Trinet, Google Suite, Microsoft Office.
