Randstad is partnering with a professional services group that has been in the Malaysian market for over 40 years. In light of an expansion to their finance team, they are presently looking to hire a Senior Accounts Executive to join them in their office located in Petaling Jaya. Reporting to the Finance Manager and Assistant Manager, this role will support in preparing the full set of accounting, reviewing financial statements, preparing and analyzing budget, forecast and cashflow.

Assist in managing the full set of accounts for a Group of Companies.Perform month-end closings and prepare monthly financial statements.Monitor and review departmental variance reports, bank, and supplier reconciliations.Analyze budget, cash flow, project analysis, and other related financial analyses.Prepare management reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely submission.Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during annual audits.Collaborate with the team to maintain the accounting system.Ensure proper recording of all petty cash transactions.Assist in submitting related taxes to the Customs Department of Malaysia.Ensure compliance with local regulations, requirements, and Accounting Standards.Review monthly reconciliations and reports prepared by subordinates for accuracy.Verify payments and invoices to ensure document completeness and accuracy.Monitor cash reserves to ensure sufficient funds for daily expenses.Assist with ad-hoc assignments as needed. requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or its equivalentProfessional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA is advantageousAt least 4-5 years of experience in full set of accounts (Accounts Payable,
Accounts Receivables and General Ledger)Strong knowledge in budgeting and financial analysis, proficient in data analysisA team player with the ability to manage a team and work across all level within the organizationGood interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in verbal and written English and Bahasa MalaysiaGood analytical skills, result oriented, organized, detailed and committed to deadlinesAction oriented, innovative and resourceful with the ability to work independently in a dynamic & fast paced environmentPossess problem solving and decision-making skillsComputer literate with knowledge in MS Office applications
