HR Executive

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop & implement ER/IR policies for the company, ensure alignment and monitor effectiveness.
- Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on Collective Agreement negotiations.
- Maintain good working relations by engaging regularly with stakeholders, i.e., Unions & Senior Staff Council.
- Serve as a member of the Collective Agreement negotiating team to deliver agreements that meet local business requirements and company agenda, ensuring acceptance by union staff and representatives. Deploy correct implementation of local, collective agreement-related policies & benefits, including appropriate staff representative involvement. Stay updated on emerging trends and legislative changes, developing effective strategies in response.
- Act as the Industrial Relations expert representative for the company, providing advice to Business Leaders/Managers on IR/ER strategy, policy, and processes, e.g., consultation requirements, compliance management, grievance/disciplinary procedures, etc.
- Handle performance management cases, long-term illness, and potential dismissals. Remain informed about emerging trends and legislative changes to develop appropriate local responses.
- Ensure consistent and fair handling of grievances, Code of Conduct complaints, and disciplinary measures, working with Legal to manage reconciliation of labor cases with the Labor Department.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in the IR/ER field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with all levels of employees.
- Strong knowledge & experience in Malaysian Labour Law, IR/ER, Employment Act, and other related legislation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Offered Salary: Up to RM7,000.00
Working Hours: 40 hours spread over 5 days a week
